An invitation

You have built
a remarkable life.
HOME is where
you choose to complete it.

This page is not for everyone. It is for those who have arrived at a point in life where the next question is not about accumulation, achievement, or status — but about meaning, beauty, and how this extraordinary journey draws to a close.

The question money cannot answer

How do you want this to end?

Most people of significant means have spent considerable energy ensuring their wealth outlives them. Very few have given the same quality of attention to the final chapter of their own lives. The conventional options — private care, isolated decline, institutional management — are not worthy of the life that preceded them.

The buy-to-belong option at HOME is something categorically different. It is an investment in the quality of your own dying — made while you are still fully alive, fully engaged, and fully capable of designing what that looks like.

The proposition

A bespoke final chapter.

Why buy a yacht?

There is a more beautiful use of extraordinary wealth.

A yacht depreciates from the moment of purchase. It sits unused for most of the year. It serves nobody when you are gone. It is a statement of wealth that says nothing about the person who holds it.

A cabin at HOME appreciates in meaning from the moment it is built. In the years before you arrive, it contributes to a living community — housing visitors, hosting people in transition, generating income that funds the work of the community you have chosen to join. When you are ready to take up residence, it is waiting for you: designed to your specification, in a landscape of extraordinary beauty, held within a community of remarkable people.

And when your time comes to die — it will be the finest dying imaginable. Witnessed. Celebrated. Conscious. Worthy of everything that came before.

Your cabin

Built to your vision.

The buy-to-belong cabin is not a standard unit. It is designed in close collaboration with you — reflecting your aesthetic, your needs, your character. The architecture can range from a beautifully crafted timber cabin to a more ambitious bespoke structure. What it shares with every other cell at HOME is simplicity, quality, and an orientation toward the natural world.

You choose the location on the site. You choose the materials. You choose what it feels like to walk through the door. This is your home — designed for the person you are now, and the person you will be at the end.

What belonging means

Not a future resident.
A founding member.

Your cabin
Built to your specification. Held for you. There when you need it — whether that is in two years or twenty. Generating community income in the interim.
Open invitation
Visit whenever you wish. Attend the Into the Wow ceremony. Bring your family. Spend a season. Deepen your connection to a community that already considers you one of its own.
A living legacy
Your investment helps build something that will outlast you — a model for integrated living that will be replicated in multiple locations. That is a legacy of a different order entirely.

"The most considered investment you will ever make is in the quality of your own dying — and in the beauty of everything that leads up to it."

The conscious dying practice

A death worthy of your life.

When your time comes, you will not face it alone, in a clinical room, managed by strangers. You will be surrounded by the community you helped build — people who know you, who have eaten with you, made music with you, walked the land with you.

Your Death Doulas will tend to every need. You will invite the people you love to come — not to a funeral, but to a final gathering of life. The goodbye that most people never get to give or receive. Held in beauty, in ceremony, in music of your own choosing.

This is what HOME offers that no amount of money can purchase elsewhere. Not comfort. Not management. Meaning.

Investment range

What this looks like financially.

A buy-to-belong investment covers the full cost of designing and building your cabin — typically in the range of £150,000 – £500,000 depending on scale, specification, and location on the site.

In the years before you take up residence, your cabin contributes to community income — hosting visitors, retreat guests, and short-stay residents. This income offsets ongoing maintenance costs and contributes to the wider community fund.

When you arrive to live, an ongoing community contribution covers your food, care, and full participation in community life. This is agreed individually, reflecting your means and your needs. There are no surprises.

"Not ready to move in.
Ready to belong."

If this speaks to something in you — even quietly, even as a distant possibility — we would like to begin a conversation. There is no obligation, no sales process, and no pressure. This is an invitation, extended to a small number of people for whom it might be exactly right.
