Families live on site. Children grow up alongside elders. People farm, cook, create, and tend to one another across every stage of life. The model is ancient — the integrated village — rebuilt for people who know what is missing from modern life and are ready to inhabit something truer.

Most people approaching the end of life face a stark choice: isolated decline at home, or institutional care where creativity is an afterthought and spirituality barely registers. HOME offers a third way — for intelligent, creative people who deserve a tribe equal to the depth of how they have lived.

An experiment in integrated living.

HOME is a business and a network in the making — but underneath that is a question. Whether modern human beings can recover a genuine sense of tribe, an indigenous relationship with the land, and a way of life in harmony with nature. The business exists to sustain the experiment. The experiment exists to answer the question.

HOME offers dedicated pathways through the three great transitions of life — arriving, transforming, and departing — each held by its own team, its own rhythm, and its own sanctuary on site.

A village designed for living.

Every building serves the same question: does this serve the life we are trying to live here? At the centre sits the Great Hall — dining, ceremony, and practice space enough for the whole tribe at once. Around it: family dwellings, end-of-life sanctuaries, a fasting sanctuary, and creative studios, threaded through permaculture gardens and a closed-loop soil system that feeds the land as richly as it feeds the people on it.

The village broadcasts itself.

Sound, paint, clay, metal, wood, and thread — six working studios, not display cases. Because HOME's real audience is spread thin across the world, documenting the build itself — the good days and the hard ones — is how the tribe reaches the people who will actually sustain it.

Nobody carries this alone.

HOME is built in two stages: a lean founding team of one person per domain, growing to a team of three in every domain as the tribe matures. Doulas, kitchen and farm coordinators, healers, builders, a studio engineer, an artist in residence — and the families whose children are, quite literally, the point.

I didn't set out to build a village.

For more than thirty years the same questions have shaped my work — as an artist, author, musician, celebrant, teacher, and event organiser. More than twenty-five of those years were spent teaching, facilitating, and consulting across the arts and education. HOME is where those questions became a plan: presence before productivity, ceremony before convenience, belonging before independence.
